In the summer of 2011 when I was looking for someone to tackle the job of removing a rotten beam across the width of the cottage and doing the necessary replacement and repairs (requiring the cottage to be lifted) I was referred by an acquaintance to Rodger Zylstra. I am very pleased that I was.
Rodger promptly returned all phone calls and emails regarding our project. He showed up punctually every day and the work was done professionally and completed in a very timely manner. Rodger offered some helpful tips for me regarding other areas of concern around my cottage. The entire area was cleaned up the way a home owner appreciates.
On the last day of the job, a tornado was expected, and without my asking for help, Rodger just set about to assist me in moving heavy objects like a canoe. Not part of the job description, but noticed and appreciated by the customer. Rodger is very personable.

Well another summer in the sun at our Dorset cottage has come to an end and preparations for the Christmas season begin. With the change of season at hand you and your company have once again come to mind for Jayson and I. Not only did you ensure that each time we arrived at our cottage this past spring, summer and fall that our grounds looked nothing short of spectacular but the burden of getting down to work right after arriving was completely taken away. We cannot express the feeling of total relaxation that hit us each time we arrived and walked into our manicured yard and instead of firing up the lawn mower we were able to crush the ice and pour ourselves a cocktail to enjoy on the dock. Truly…we wish we had of found you years ago! Further to the bi-weekly maintenance of the grounds you provided assistance in procuring other services for around our property and you also did a fantastic job of painting our main cottage, guest cabin and wash--‐house! The giant removal of miscellaneous debris items to the dump was also a valued and much appreciated service that you provided to us. It is a comfort knowing that you are but a call away and that in the case of an emergency you can be at our cottage promptly to look into things.
